MRC – The Flava People, are one of the major players in food flavour industry. They’ve been around since the 60s and over time have diversified their product range. But they were having problems managing their increasingly dispersed business systems . Specifically, they were struggling to manage their financial information and control costs effectively.
They began looking at solutions that would not only cope with the financial controls but also help them streamline processes in other areas such such as manufacturing The decision to outsource was made as a result of MRC’s need for a complete solution to allow them to get on with their growing their core business – supplying flavours rather than having to concern themselves with IT and complicated finance systems.
The Flava People, implemented SAP Business One with Signum in 2013 and this new ERP business system has given them a modern and flexible new platform, with industry specific features and functionality, to support the company’s growth plans.

Last month, MRC were announced as winners at the MEN Business of the Year 2014 awards ceremony, triumphing in the category for businesses up to £10M turnover.
