Account Manager / Customer Development

Signum is an SAP Business One Gold Partner, specializing in the implementation and support of SAP Business One solutions and selected add-ons into the SME manufacturing and distribution sector throughout the UK since 2006.

We like to build long-term relationships with our customers and go to great lengths to help them drive business improvement though better and more extensive use of their SAP Business One system.  We have a loyal customer base of approximately 95 companies, many of whom are fast growing, ambitious organizations who rely on SAP Business One to facilitate their future growth and success.

As our user base is growing, we now require a dedicated and professional account manager to nurture and manage customer relationships, with the purpose of identifying and selling added value solutions and services to our existing customers.

The ideal candidate will be commercially aware who enjoys making a sale, but you will also enjoy working closely with customers to understand their challenges / problems and working with other Signum team members to identify and present possible solutions to those challenges/problems.

To be successful you will need to understand the capabilities of SAP Business One and ERP systems in general, particularly in logistics and manufacturing environments. You do not need to possess the hands-on skills of an implementation consultant or a developer, but you must be able to understand a business problem and be able to talk about possible solutions using SAP Business One and associated add-ons. Good written and oral presentation skills are also important.

You will work closely with our marketing and operations team to build sales and communication campaigns and with our consulting team to identify and present solution proposals.
