Project Manager Responsibilities:
The role of a SAP Business One Senior Project Manager at Signum Solutions includes:
- Manage SAP B1 Implementation projects and small customer improvement projects
- Ensure that quality of project delivery is the same for all clients, regardless of project size
- Manage day to day client interaction and expectations
- Continually seek and capitalise on opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
- Maintain client engagement through regular meetings (including onsite meetings) and project status reports allied to effective communication strategies
- Identify and deliver change management within projects
- Manage project budget and milestone delivery timescales
- Ensure timely resource assignment to projects
- Ensure all project timesheets are processed within the set requirements
- Serve as a key participant and facilitator in team and client meetings
- Maintain clear and up to date project documentation at all times
- Deal with project issues openly and with transparency
- Work across the company to share lessons learned and best practice methods
- Ensure appropriate revenue recognition and accurate and prompt invoicing against agreed project milestones
- Identify, communicate and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle
- Resolve project issues openly and quickly
- Effectively communicate key project information and budgetary information to management and peers in the business
- Maintain and maximise the use of supplied project management tools and software
- Address billing issues when they arise, working with the finance team to resolve
Essential Experience:
- Extensive SAP Business One project management experience
- >3 years experience in project management of SAP B1, for a senior PM we would expect 5-10 years experience
- 6+ Full implementation life cycles with SAP B1
- Technical and commercial appreciation
- Client engagement and communication skills that are both flexible and inspire confidence
- Prince 2 Qualifications
- Agile certification is desirable
- Knowledge of structured project methodology and associated required project documentation
- Critical path analysis and effective risk management
Candidate Profile:
- Highly organised with the ability to balance multiple simultaneous projects
- Possess the ability to maintain a professional demeanour in times of high stress
- Proactive approach to project delivery, working highly effectively with the consultancy team to ensure excellence of delivery
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience in managing multiple stakeholders and their priorities, including the consultancy team.
- The successful candidate will have excellent written and spoken English and be able to demonstrate to customers that they fully understand their requirements.
- They can interrogate the customers’ business processes and identify any gaps and or risks.
- SAP B1 Certification is also essential.
- In addition, candidates must be comfortable working with end users – from general office staff through to senior management/directors, be confident in their approach, able to think on their feet, and have a real ‘can do’ attitude.
- They should have superior people skills, be team-oriented, be a fast learner and be very personable.
- Knowledge of financial, accounting and distribution systems would be highly desirable.
Working Conditions:
Note that UK travel is required. The ideal candidate will live locally to South Manchester / Cheshire and must have a valid Full driving licence.
