Tips for encouraging teamwork in your small business

Today we're talking about encouraging teamwork in your business.

If you have a team of employees working for you, one of the most important things you can do is make sure they know how much you appreciate them. If they don't feel valued and appreciated, they'll feel like their work isn't making an impact—and eventually, they'll move on to another job where they do feel valued and appreciated.

One way to make sure your employees know they're valued is by setting aside time to get to know them as people outside of work.

Give them opportunities to share their passions and interests outside of work, give them permission to talk about their lives at work (as long as it doesn't interfere with productivity), and make sure that when an employee does something amazing or goes out of their way for a customer or client, you take the time to acknowledge it publicly within the company so everyone knows what's going on.

Another great way to encourage teamwork is by being flexible with scheduling—if you allow employees some flexibility around when they come in or leave work each day (or week!)"
